ObieGame: It’s Happening Again

Greetings, dear players. Did you miss us? It’s been far too long since our last communiqué. Last fall we promised you two ObieGames, and even Davy Jones himself can’t stop us from keeping our promises. Whether you like it or not, a brand new game is coming to you shortly.

Regardless of whether or not you played in the fall, you will encounter a completely different storyline that requires no previous game experience. Like last time, the game will be accessible to both on- and off-campus students, and all current Oberlin students are welcome to play regardless of enrollment status. That’s right, even taking a semester off can’t stop you from joining the adventure.

As a reminder, all ObieGame events will follow ObieSafe guidelines. We will do our best to keep everyone safe against COVID-19. (However, we can’t protect you if you’ve been cursed by the ghost of a pirate captain. Please stop asking.)

So get ready. Do your homework. Form your crew. We’ll be expecting you sometime in mid-April. As usual, teams that don’t get eliminated can expect the game to last about 2 weeks. Until then, keep your eyes peeled for signs that registration is open. If you have any questions, feel free to contact us via email, an artfully mysterious treasure map in a carefully corked bottle or MySpaceIM. See you soon.

Oh, and one more thing to remember: ObieGame will never die.
